Responsible for complete oversight and management of purchasing for assigned locations and buyers. Works with branch, pricing, and central management to identify and execute cost savings opportunities, including supplier selections, negotiating into stock costs, customer specific costs and supplier programs. Optimizes and maintains strong supplier relationships.
• Increasing responsibility in purchasing management – 5 years required; 7 years preferred.
• People management experience – 3 years required; 5 years preferred.
