The role of a Marketing and Sales Support Executive is to work as part of a team lead by a Program Director or Program Manager, to execute specific projects on behalf of clients. Generally, the role involves working on one or a few projects at a time for one or more clients.
The Marketing/Sales Support Team consists of a team of Marketing and Sales Support Executives who provide telephone based marketing and program enablement support for our client’s business partners in local language.For this role, the Marketing/Sales Support Executive will be working as part of a global team on number of existing projects.
The role of the Marketing/Sales Support Executive will be varied, predominately outbound in nature. Our clients has number of partners (also known as resellers) who sell our vendor products. These partners are different in profile and the role of the Marketing/Sales Support Executive initially will be to contact a senior decision maker within the partner organisation to understand how they engage with the Vendor and what marketing support they need.
Once relationships have been established with a range of partners, they will need nurturing through the provision of ongoing marketing support. This may be through the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, or through coaching on the partner tools that our clients make available to their partners. On the whole these partners have limited resources to focus on just one vendor and require the guidance and support of the Marketing/Sales Support Executive to coach them on the various tools and programs that are available to them.There is therefore, a requirement to have a broad knowledge of not only the sales and marketing opportunities available to partners, but also be able to articulate the wider benefits of being part of the client partner program.
In addition, the Marketing/Sales Support Executive will be providing a level of inbound coaching and support. This could range across a wide number of topics from partners needing advice in executing campaign, or even just wanting someone to talk them through how to enroll on the program.
Using a predetermined list of our client’s business partners, you will contact and build relationships with key marketing contacts
You will spend time on the telephone with partner contacts explaining and promoting the benefits of utilizing the relevant tools and programs for their business
Support in the implementation of campaigns
Follow up once any activity has taken place
As new campaigns and initiatives are launched, you will again brief targeted business partners on the materials available
You will act as a remote ‘virtual support’ person, available to answer any queries or questions and acquire feedback
What you’ll offer:
Fluency to business level in Mandarin and English languages, both written and verbal
Experience of working in a customer facing role/ B2B experience desirable
Strong numeracy skills
Flexible approach and ability to work with changing priorities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
Telephone based experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Customer Services
Strong relationship building and telephone skills
Ability and confidence to communicate with contacts at all levels
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, when required
