Independently lead packaging development and commercialization of material and packaging systems to deliver against short and long term business objectives.
Manage technical timelines, provide timely communication, raise issues and risks, and develop contingency plans leveraging strong project management skills.
Coordinate and conduct functional testing including lab testing, plant trials, package qualifications.
Responsible for identifying, defining, and solving technical packaging challenges.
Collaborate and partner with suppliers to identify new technology opportunities, optimizing the utilization of organization and supplier resources and tools.
Elevate the competence and know-how of junior developers through direct management, training and coaching.
Establish self as a technical subject matter expert in packaging materials, applications, testing and problem-solving.
Planning and overseeing new marketing and growth initiatives, researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients and goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on ROI financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Ensure marketing projects are delivered as scheduled and within budget to best possible quality standards.
Provide ideas as well as opportunities to assist and enhance sales results.
Interact and guide creative personnel to develop and present new design, copy as well as marketing solutions for local op unit “customers” to accomplish marketing goals.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
Understanding Dairy / JNSD / Food category.
Required skill(s): Food Packaging Technology.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position and 3 years in a managerial role.
Preferably Managers specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9.00 am - 6.00 pm)
