Responsible for overseeing the compensation and benefits for the company which include designing, implementing and administering the organization’s compensation plans and benefits programs . Analyzes compensation data within an organization and evaluates job positions to determine classification and salary. Administers employee retirement and insurance (GHS, GPA & GTL), and works with insurance brokers and plan carriers. Responsible to provide support to the Human Resource leadership team to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help propose and influence continuous improvement/changes to the operations, process and programs.
Design, implement, and manage salary classification and compensation programs.
Conduct analysis of compensation and benefits within company.
Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scale.
Improve recruitment and retention.
Oversee competitive analysis, merit increases and salary structure.
Determine appropriate base pay allign with job descriptions / job size for various positions
Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments.
Forecast budget for salary increases.
Administer and manage employee insurance plans (medical, GPA and GTL)
Administer staff retirement and manage retirement benefits programme.
Advise on salary increase requests.
Advise employees on compensation and benefits policies,and personnel procedures.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Required skill(s): salary bench-marking, job evaluation, HR Analytics.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
